Hi, this is Michael!

I have been involved in photography for more than 30 years. With ups and downs and with many different topics. From thousands of slides to digital and now partly back to analogue.

I love going out with my camera and seeing and capturing my surroundings or new areas/cities. And then I try to do that with a slightly different look or point of view. Or just isolate ordinary objects in all their simplicity.

Although my photographic interests are very broad, I am mostly attracted to black and white photos. The lack of distraction by colors and focusing more on form and content really appeals to me. That’s why – after starting an Instagram account with purely monochrome photos – I also dedicated a website to it.

A direction that also really appeals to me is what is called Fine-Art photography. Creative photos with a thought or vision behind them. I hope to develop more in this area in the coming years and to bring more unity to my photos, creating my own style.

Despite the advantages of digital photography, I regularly use one of my analog cameras to take photos. Not that it is necessarily better, or just for nostalgic reasons, but having only 24 or 36 photos on a roll of film forces you to think more about the photo to be taken.
I hope you will spend some time on my website and that my photos appeal to you. If you have any questions or are interested in one of the photos, please contact me via the contact form.

Thanks for dropping by, regards,

Michael
